Country Manor Memory Care Earns National Quality Award from Leading Senior Care Association

DAVENPORT, Iowa (June 26, 2025) – Country Manor Memory Care has been recognized as a 2025 recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) for their team’s commitment to improving the lives of their residents by providing quality care and services.

“Thank you to AHCA/NCAL for honoring our community with this prestigious award,” Kareicia Mahieu, Country Manor executive director said. “Providing our residents and their families with the best possible care and services we can is what we live for, and we’re thankful that goal is being achieved. Our work does not stop here though, as our team is passionate and devoted to achieving continuous quality improvement that elevates our residents’ health, wellness, and happiness.”

Providers begin the quality improvement process at the Bronze level, where they develop an organizational profile with essential performance elements such as vision, mission statement, understanding of key customers, and key strengths and challenges. Bronze applicants must also demonstrate their ability to implement a sustainable performance improvement system. Trained examiners review each application to determine if a center has met the demands of the criteria. Country Manor is one of only 45 Iowa-based communities that received the Bronze Award in 2025.

“We commend this year’s recipient for taking this important first step on their quality journey,” Cliff Porter, president and CEO of AHCA/NCAL said. “Their commitment to continuous improvement and resident-centered care reflects the heart of our mission and lays a strong foundation for future excellence.”

Country Manor’s passionate and talented team of memory care professionals provide their residents with quality care to fit their personal needs. Personalized care plans include a range of support from help with normal daily activities such as bathing or getting dressed to medication management, administration, and more.

Country Manor is managed by Health Dimensions Group® (HDG®) — a leading senior living, post-acute, and long-term care management and consulting firm based in Minneapolis, MN.
